Ascended - Commercial Product
Ascended was a small side project me and a fellow student worked on within a 3 month period. This was the second product I had worked on for commercial release via steam which again allowed me to further my skills in programming and design. Ascended featured a more modular development approach that allowed us to create features such as puzzles that could be replicated through the levels in different ways. This technique we learnt as result of our first commercial product allowed to speed up the development process of the game by refining one area before moving onto another.
Ascended is a sci-fi first/third person 3D puzzle platformer in which you must guide a light energy source through a series of sixteen exciting puzzle levels using the various abilities which you unlock along the way.
